Opayo Service Interruption: Elavon merchant accounts only

Update -2:58 - The issue has been resolved and transactions are processing as normal.

Elavon incident management team have confirmed to the Opayo team that the issue with authorisations on Elavon merchant accounts is now resolved. The outage is confirmed to have occurred from 22:10 to 02:37 GMT.

Please note: this was not an Opayo outage and will have only affected merchants with Elavon merchant accounts. For further assistance please contact Elavon customer services directly.

The issue has been confirmed to be on the Elavon GateConex platform which Opayo uses for authorisation on Elavon merchant accounts and the Elavon incident management team are working to resolve the issue.

In the past 10 minutes we have seen a significant recovery of payments on the Opayo gateway using Elavon merchant accounts.

We will provide another update in one hour or sooner if we have a resolution.

We are currently experiencing an issue where some transactions are not processing successfully via the live payment gateway. This is only affecting Opayo customers with Elavon merchant accounts.

Our investigations are underway to establish the root cause and resolve the issue.
